On the technical front, our work ranges from Intranet integration to Content Management Systems to Open Source systems and their customisation, as well as search engine optimisation and digital strategy development.
We are simultaneously developing new systems that will offer a valuable alternative to existing ones in the website creation and management world.
Job Description
What you'll do:
- SEO: Support the production of various projects by engaging with front-end design implementation related to search engine optimisation (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Digital strategy: Google AdWords management; integrating Twitter, Facebook and other relevant social media services to client websites (this can include the development of Facebook pages using proprietary Facebook Markup Language)
- Front-end Development: In various cases, beyond SEO and Digital Strategy, we will also need you to help us on front-end development using HTML, CSS and Javascript
- Liaise and communicate with certain clients whose requirements closely relate to your responsibilities
- Innovate with a creative, driven team
For that to happen, it is essential that you have:
- A strong desire to set yourself up in the digital world and stay ahead of the curve in skills and knowledge
- Great communication skills
- Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- An understanding of search engine marketing concepts
- An understanding of Content Management Systems like Drupal and Wordpress
It will be an advantage if you have:
- 1-2 years of experience working in this sector
- A technical understanding of programming concepts
- Tertiary IT qualification
- Passion for things outside of this line of work
