Designated Languages for General Skilled Migration

You can score an additional 5 points in the points test for skilled migration if you have skills in one of Australia's community languages.

In the points test applying from 1 July 2011 you must be accredited by the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI) at the para-professional level (Level 2). The list of Australian community languages for the purposes of skilled migration is:
