People applying for skilled migration qualify for 15 extra points in the skilled migration points testif their nominated occupation is on the MODL listand have worked in that occupation, or closely related occupation, for at least 12 of the last 48 months.
The list is also relevant in applying for employer nomination.
12 months of work experience in one of the following: - CISSP - C++/C#/C - Data Warehousing - Java - J2EE - Linux - .Net technologies - Network Security/Firewall/Internet Security - Oracle - PeopleSoft - SAP - SIEBEL (especially Siebel Analytic) - Solaris - Unix
