Most of these are identical to what was previously on the list, but the specialisation in Sybase SQL Server is a new addition.

One occupation has been dropped from the MODL - this is General Electronic Instrument Tradesperson, ASCO 4314-11.

If you nominate an MODL ocupation in your application for General Skilled Migration, this will give you 15 points towards the pass mark for the visa.

Note that from 1 September 2007, new legislation will be introduced which will mean that you must have at least 12 of the last 48 months of work experience in the MODL occupation, or closely related occupation, to get the 15 points.

Feel free to contact us if you have any questions about how these changes may affect you.
