Skilled Graduate Subclass 485
The Skilled - Graduate visa is an 18-month temporary visa available to international students who have completed 2 years of study in Austrlaia.
The information below relates to the new subclass 485 visa to be introduced on 1 September 2007.
Visa Criteria
The main criteria for the Skilled - Graduate visa are as follows:| Age: | The main applicant must be under 45 at the date of lodgement. |
| Occupation: | Evidence that a skills assessment has been lodged must be provided at lodgement for offshore applicants. |
| English: |
The main applicant must have at least:
Evidence of threshold English, or that an IELTS test has been booked, must be provided at date of lodgement. |
| Study in Australia: | You must have studied in Australia for 2 years to meet the requirements for this visa. |
| Points Test: | The Skilled-Graduate visa is not points-tested. |
Duration and Conditions
Results in an 18-month visa with full work and study rights in Australia.How do I apply?
All applications for general skilled migration must be lodged at the Adelaide Skilled Processing Centre in Australia.
