Tasmania Skilled Regional Sponsored List

This is a list of the occupations in demand in Tasmania for the skilled regional sponsored visa.

The list is current as of 1st July 2009. Tasmania has the following additional requirements:

Financial

You must show sufficient funds for settlement in Australia:

Primary applicant $20,000
Additional applicant $10,000

Onshore-recent graduates

Recent Graduates must either:

Have completed studies at a Tasmanian institution; or
Have a skilled, full-time job offer from a Tasmanian employer for at least 3 months. * Please note that the current Skilled Regional Sponsored occupations list for Tasmania is only valid for applicant's applying for and offshore skilled regional sponsored visa.

Working Holiday Makers and Occupational Trainees

If you hold a working holiday or occupational trainee visa, you may be eligible to apply onshore for a skilled regional sponsored visa.

You would need to meet the following requirements to be nominated in these circumstances:

Have worked in Tasmania for 3 months; and
Have a job offer from Tasmanian employer for at least 3 months
Your occupation is on SRS list for Tasmania
