Skills AssessmentYou would need you skills assessment for most General Skilled Migration Visa applications and for Direct entry ENS visa applications. Skills assessments can take 3 to 4 months processing time. Usually you would need to gather evidence of qualifications and work experience. In some cases you would also need to sit for an English test or write project reports. Taking care of your skills assessment ahead of time can make a big difference as you will be ready to take advantage of any state nomination opportunities which arise. Often, these opportunities are not available for long. Getting it right even more important. Incorrectly lodged assessment could affect your eligibility for your future visa options.
