Case Study - Rudi (Employer Nomination Scheme)
Background to CaseWe applied for an Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) visa for Rudi. Rudi's case was a complex one for a couple of reasons:
- We first needed to complete a skills assessment for Rudi through Trades Recognition Australia, one of the most difficult skills assessing authorities.
- Rudi was over 45, so we needed to obtain a waiver of the usual age limit for ENS. We worked with Rudi's employer to draft a submission to the effect that Rudi had unique skills which could not reasonably be expected of someone under 45
Rudi's TestimonialDear Mark, Last August our Finnish-German family made a big decision to move to Australia. We had got a once in a life time opportunity to get permanent work in Australia. We soon found out that there would be a whole lot of paperwork to do, before we could apply for a permanent visa. Our Australian employer had successfully used the services of Acacia before and he recommended us to get some help from you too. After eight months hard work, dozens of e-mails and countless number of papers we got our visa granted. That was one of the happiest days in our lives. As we started this project we had no idea about the number of documents we would need to get translated and filled in and hundreds of questions we would need to answer and we would need somebody to answer. We don't know how we could have managed this without you and your team! We want to thank you Mark for the great work you have done. As soon as we finally had all the formulas filled in and all the required documents translated the rest came out really fast. We got the skills assessment, nomination and finally the visa grant with in few weeks after lodging each application. And we're sure that depended on the excellent work Acacia team had done with preparing our applications. We would like to say special thanks to you Mark and your team members Katrina, Jan and Jeff who have patiently and promptly answered our endless questions. It has been a really nice and comfort feeling to know our case is in good hands and there was always someone there to reply within minutes if we needed anything to be cleared. Excellent service!! Thank you all!! See you soon in Australia! Best regards, Paula and Rudi
